SEIU 503, Sub-local 085
SEIU Sub-local 085 represents approximately 1,500 classified staff at the University of Oregon. Our union is member-driven and staff-supported. We democratically elect stewards, local and statewide officers, and bargaining delegates who negotiate the collective bargaining agreement between classified employees of the state universities and the University Shared Services Enterprise.
The collective bargaining agreement sets the wages and working conditions for all classified employees for the length of the contract.
We are a sub-local of SEIU Local 503, which represents more than 72,000 people state-wide. By standing together, we have a voice in our contracts and our daily work lives.
